With triple bed dorms and private teepees, this brand new property offers travelers the lively atmosphere and social scene Mad Monkey is famous for!
Dine at our restaurant for both local and western food, join our tours to explore the Gili islands, and stick around for our daily and nightly events!
We offer bicycle rentals so you can get around the island with ease, but we're also just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and bars on the west side.
Enjoy our clean and comfortable rooms, outstanding customer service, and spacious bar and restaurant to meet new people! We are a socially responsible business, so your stay with us supports community projects across Southeast Asia and Australia, as well.
This means there might be a bit of noise during your stay. Rest assured, you'll probably be too busy taking in the epic views, meeting new friends, and exploring the paradise of Gili T to even notice!
We use a cashless wristband system for your convenience! Check Availability 0 showChangeSearch this. Superb Based on reviews. But that One night was the best night ever.
Mostly thanks to Joe, Sophie and Stampy. Great reps who made the end of the world party an absolute hit. Beware though, cause in any restaurant in El Nido you'll wait ages for your food.
It's nice though, since in the meantime you can just ponder upon the beauty of the Philippines. I can recommend the marimegmeg beach, around minutes away by ticycle from the town.
It's a really nice beach and the bar serves delicious food and amazing drinks. You will definitely find yourself riding the tricycles a lot, so bare in mind that you should bargain with the drivers!
El Nido is little town, there is a small beach but with the boats,so not for sunbathing or so. People usually go take tricycle to the beaches like Los Cabanas 10minpesos or Nacbar 40minpps.
If you want nice romantic sunset every night, find a place at Corong Corong beach,it is not too far from El Nido town. We had dinner at the Greenview resort, and I think i ate the best fish in my life!
We did some diving as well, and another day privat kayaking tour. We wanted to avoid those crowded Island Hopping tours.
El Nido is awesome, you can explore,on kayak,or boat or bike And white sand. Just landing with the plane in Puerto Princessa looks tricky sometimes.
We didnt land on our first try,cos it was too windy. El Nido is a small beach town, don't expect to find supermarkets or McDonald's there! There are loads of excellent restaurants there, especially great if you like Seafood, we had many seafood dinners there at a very reasonable price.
There are scheduled tours that leave almost every day weather permitting that take you around to some of the harder to reach beaches, coves, lagoons around El Nido's many islands.
Overall we spent a week there which was enough time, you could spend more or less time in El Nido depending on what activities you enjoy and what kind of holiday you are looking for.
I love Nacpan beach,it was so relaxing there, you can just lie on the beach and swim while waiting for the sunset.
We also enjoyed the tour A and C.. There's a lot of restaurants around,I suggest you walk around, there's so many to choose from. It is so easy to get around El nido.
There's a lot of tricycles and if you prefer to go around the place on your own there's a lot of motorcycles for rent. El Nido is a great spot to visit all of the famous island hopping destinations.
Definitely do tour A and C and hire a kayak to explore where you want to go. Its all beautiful and you won't be disappointed.
Food is relatively expensive but there are a heap of options. As for accomodation again heaps of options but quite expensive for what you get.
Probably best to stay just out of town maybe in Corong corong and trike in and out. El Nido is only accessible via a 5 hour bus ride from Puerto Princessa or an 8 hour ferry ride from Coron but is well worth the effort.
It has a large market and some beautiful beach front restaurants. Great island Hopping tours at reasonable prices. Also a great way to see more is to hire a motorcycle for Pesos a day and head out to see idyllic beaches further north like twin beach.
Make sure you take cash with you as tge one and only ATM was not working for foreign travellers at the time and struggled to get money.
Welcoming and warm staff from the moment we arrived—late at night. Maria, the front clerk is hospitable, pleasant and eager to help. She has a great deal of information about the area and will help guide you.
Maria Teresa, she was a server and kitchen help. She was very pleasant and always providing our needs—there were 7 of us total.
The hotel is nestled in the side of a mountain, amongst the beautiful, lush foliage and dare I say, jungle? Breakfast every morning was top notch, hot and so yummy.
There were several families there with small children and they seemed to do fine. We had a trike driver just outside the hotel—Joel.
He stuck with us the entire week and hooked us up with great prices on tours. This was a great surprise for us as we met others that stayed in hostels and all we heard were stories that were not the greatest.
Exclusive, isolated island location with a slow, peaceful pace and gorgeous views of other islands across the water. Luxurious, stylish villas and excellent service all around.
Some standard boat trips are complimentary and others are not but can be arranged at reasonable fees. Bangkok is known as a party city and at Mad Monkey Bangkok we don't let the side down.
You'll find us just off the famous Khao San Road, with views of a canal and a short walk from the river. Our staff are on hand around the clock to check you in and help you find your way around the city.
Been travelling in the heat all day? You can have a well-deserved cool down in our swimming pool, before heading to the bar and restaurant.
You can also take a tour of the local floating markets or waterfalls. We've got both mixed and female-only dorms available. If you like to spread out, choose one of our private rooms where you'll find huge beds with plenty of room for starfishing.
All bunks have power outlets for phone charging and lockbox safes for your valuables so you can sleep easy.
Wi-Fi and linen are free and there's no need to worry about the infamous Thai humidity — our rooms have fans and air con to keep you cool. Looking for something more zen?

In a plot to defame Chen as a master of Kung Fu, ruin Chen and his sister's opera troupe and gain Miss Chen as a brothel worker, the villainous gangster and brothel-owner Tuan Lo Lieh along with his wife whom acts as the brothel Mistress, frame a drunken Chen for the rape of Tuan's wife, and inform Chen and his sister that the punishment for his "crime" is death, however Chen's sister offers herself to be Tuan's concubine and work in the brothel indefinitely in exchange for her brother's life.
Getting exactly what he and his wife wanted, Tuan's agrees, though only with the addition of being able to cripple Chen's hands, knowing he will have ruined Chen's status as a master of Kung Fu in doing so.
Years pass by, and after the tragedy that befell he and his sister, Chen comes to terms with his alcoholism, and maintains a life of sobriety.
Chen also gives up opera performing and practicing monkey style Kung Fu, as he is haunted by a regret and shame that he is to blame for his sister's life due to his previous inability to maintain sobriety.
Chen struggles as a street entertainer and candy salesman now somewhat of a local celebrity due to his kind and giving nature to make ends meet, performing with his beloved trained monkey Ah Mao.
A young thief, albeit with a good heart, named Monkey, Hsiao Ho watches on with a group of children at Chen and Ah Mao's entertainment showcase, until it is interrupted by a group of the town's thugs and extortionists.
When Chen barely affords to pay them, they retaliate by destroying Chen's set and throwing his candies across the town square.
Monkey steps in to help Chen clean up and collect his things as the extortionists storm off through town. Monkey cracks up a plan to steal back the money that the extortionists had taken from Chen and gift him with a warm meal for dinner.
After successfully stealing the money back from the local extortionists, Monkey later visits Chen at his home on the outskirts of town with an expensive meal and wine to enjoy, knowing Chen likely lost all of his money to the extortionists earlier.
Chen, who believes Monkey has sought him out for a show, asks the young man's name, to which Monkey explains he doesn't know his own name, but is called Monkey.
Chen remarks that he Monkey begins to unpack the meal he's brought for Chen, waving the expensive wine he's purchased under Chen's nose.
Chen starkly refuses the wine at first, even attempting to kick Monkey out for tempting him. Chen soon apologizes for his brash action after seeing Monkey meant no harm, and accepts the meal, offering to dine with Monkey.
He then inquires how Monkey could possibly afford the expensive meal he's offered.
